Most leadership BOOKS (not reading) seem like a huge waste of time. The best ideas can usually be summed up in 150 pages less than the publisher and author actually used. Here are a few books that are worth their price tag that have had a profound impact on my leadership and lifestyle:
- “The 4-hour work week” - Timothy Ferris (this is the most recent and mind blowing one)
- “The E-myth Revisited” – Micheal Gerber
- “Brand You 50″ – Tom Peters
- “Courageous Leader” – Bill Hybels
I recently read The Contrarian’s Guide to Leadership by Steven Sample and thought it was the best leadership book I’ve ever read. I agree with you that most of them are pretty blah.
